DMM Freedom Single Leash
While climbing without a leash is extremely liberating, dropping your axe halfway up a route is not an option. This DMM Freedom Single leash allows you to enjoy the freedom and versatility of leashless climbing while also preventing your axes from falling if you drop them.
Halfway up the leashes, there is a clip-in point. If you fall off but your axes hold, you can clip a sling into the leash and pull yourself back to your axes. A feature you hope you never have to use, but will be grateful for if you do.
This item’s sole purpose is to keep your tools from falling. You should never rely on it to provide security.
